She was an active member of the Governing Board for the New England Association of College Admissions Counselors (NEACAC) and served as a faculty member for NEACAC's Summer Institute for three years. In addition, Sharon served on the Connecticut School Counselors Association (CSCA) Governing Board for seven years, including three years as Chairman of the Board.
